Horizon SaaS has now been officially certified as being compliant with ISO 27001:2013. The certification provides further assurance to our customers regarding data confidentiality, system integrity and service availability offered by Qube Global Software.
Specifically, it means that the Horizon SaaS service has now been independently assessed against an internationally-recognised information security management standard. This is designed to assure users that a SaaS supplier has appropriate management frameworks, technologies and business processes in place to manage their data.
In aiding the protection of our customers’ data, the ISO 27001:2013 standard is a far reaching security framework that influences all aspects of our business, including physical hosting facilities, our own office security systems, staff recruitment policies and training programs, security technologies, communication procedures, backup and restore technologies, disaster recovery planning and contractual service levels. It is designed to help us protect our customers’ data in three key areas: confidentiality, integrity and availability. In other words, it is designed to remove the risk of information being hacked, disclosed to unauthorised parties or corrupted and ensure it is available for use.
