This blog post relates to Castleton, one of our previous brands. For more information please read the press release.

Complementary Communications Software, supporting Castleton’s strategy for Enhancing Digital Engagement within Social Housing.

Castleton is delighted to announce the recent acquisition of Deeplake Digital Limited developers of sector-leading SMS messaging for Social Housing.

Complementing Castleton’s existing suite of Digital Engagement solutions, the acquisition of Deeplake ‘Communications Manager’ software means the provision of two-way SMS communication between social housing providers and their customers. Digital platforms also extend to tenant portals, smartphone apps, email, and social media. This modern communications platform uses Microsoft.NET technology – in line with Castleton’s existing technology platform, allowing for full integration.

CASTLETON commented:

This strategic acquisition enables us to capitalise on the significant opportunities within the Social Housing market’s ongoing market shift towards digitalisation, building on the capabilities that the Group has already successfully developed. Deeplake Digital adds scale, customers, skills, market knowledge, and specific digital communication intellectual property and has a great reputation for delivering a quality product and service, evidenced by its high customer retention levels over the past ten years. This acquisition further enhances CASTLETON’s offering and a strengthened position to deliver truly integrated housing solutions to our customers.

Four existing staff from Deeplake Digital will join the CASTLETON team, to ensure high-quality delivery and continuity for customers. Deeplake Digital has strong relationships with over 100 housing associations, comprising more than 60 of Castleton’s existing customers. The acquisition will add more than 30 new customer names into which Castleton can support wider solutions and services, with the backing of greater resources, product investment, and scalability.

For our current customers who have both Castleton and Deeplake solutions, we will be making contact to review the use of the product, with a view of bringing you up to speed on the new roadmap for the solution. We will be looking to ensure all customers are upgraded to the GDPR facilitating version of the solution and discuss options of using Castleton’s new training facility to deliver refresher training.

For our customers who are new to Communications Manager, we will be running a series of Webinars in the very near future with some attractive deals for first-time customers. You can contact your account manager for further information on this.
