The first episode of our social housing podcast series explores the results from our first Resident Voice Index™ report. Our first phase of research focussed on Neighbourhoods and Communities, with almost 4,000 social housing residents responding to the survey. In this episode, we focus on residents’ perspectives of belonging and caring within their neighbourhoods and communities and explore the results alongside social housing Resident Ambassadors who have actively participated in our research groups. We also speak to Doug Sarney, Solutions Principal, MRI Software who is our visionary lead on this project, sharing his own thoughts and reflections on the latest findings.

The next episode of the social housing podcast will explore the theme of neighbourhoods and communities, alongside one of our Resident Voice Index™ partners, HACT (Housing Associations’ Charitable Trust). We’ll be discussing the role housing providers can and do play in neighbourhoods. In particular, how small, social interventions at a local level can have far reaching benefits and savings across society.
