They’ve recently celebrated the opening of their sixth office, in Basingstoke.
Since the business was founded in 1999, Brockenhurst had relied on MRI Agency Central (known at that time as Universal from Thesaurus Technology) as their central management system. However, they were using a dated version of the software, so Brockenhurst made the decision to update their technology, and after a thorough research process, they chose to migrate to MRI Sales and Lettings.
“The support we’ve had with the Agency Central system over the past 20 years has been superb”, explained David Griffiths, Managing Director at Brockenhurst Estate Agents. “However, from a usability point of view the old version we were using was becoming dated, and there were things we wanted to do going forward with our technology.”
The Brockenhurst team is excited to take advantage of MRI Sales and Lettings’ open and connected architecture to integrate with other systems within their business. The business is planning to integrate NicheCom data on Energy Performance Certificates, virtual property tours and other tenancy documents, as well as integrating services to manage anti-money laundering checks and Tenancy Deposit Scheme payments. Brockenhurst also chose to integrate MRI Secure Sign, allowing them to handle electronic contract signatures from within MRI Sales and Lettings. All of these integrations and Brockenhurst’s main CRM system are easily accessed via Agency Home, MRI’s innovative customisable landing page, providing real-time updates to the team and keeping their operations well organised.
A lot of our time is spent uploading things to Agency Central. We’re trying to move forward and make things easier, which will allow us to put forward a more efficient image to our clients.
Brockenhurst Estate Agents is anticipating improvements in their efficiency as a result of migrating to MRI Sales and Lettings.
The software we’re using currently doesn’t automatically de-duplicate between branches. Some clients end up registered multiple times because they’ve called multiple offices, and this makes it difficult to get a full picture of the relationship.
Brockenhurst is also looking forward to taking advantage of MRI Sales & Lettings’ advanced reporting features.
“From a management point of view, I spend time every Monday going through the previous week’s paperwork, and reporting is a manual and difficult process”, explained David. “We can see how many offers were accepted, but not which ones fell through, and understanding this is important. MRI Sales and Lettings will give me much more intuitive ways of getting the figures I need.”
