Housing Technology 2018

On March 7th and 8th, staff from Castleton software and managed services attended the Housing Technology Conference and executive forum 2018 at the Oxford Belfry. The event is one of the prime industry events and attracted over 400 delegates from the housing sector throughout the UK including representatives from areas of operations, housing, finance and ICT.

During the conference, Castleton and Housing Solutions gave a joint presentation to delegates. The presentation titled ‘A true technology partnership: driving change and delivering innovation’ covered the long term and growing relationship between Castleton and Housing Solutions. Richard Harvey, ICT Manager at HS paid particular focus on the recent migration from delivering their ICT infrastructure in-house to a fully hosted infrastructure delivered from Castleton’s data centres. Richard highlighted a number of key benefits that this move has delivered including a lowering of cost, ease of use, and allowing HS to focus on ICT strategy knowing that day to day ICT is in safe hands.
