ECS is pleased to announce the acquisition of FDS Advanced Systems Ltd.

Estate Computer Systems Ltd (ECS), one of the UK’s major suppliers of property and portfolio management software, is pleased to announce that it has acquired FDS Advanced Systems Ltd of Woking, Surrey. FDS develops and supplies Planet FM, a leading software solution in the field of facilities management.

John Cuppello, Managing Director of ECS, said:  “I am extremely pleased with the acquisition of FDS as its product Planet FM complements our own solution, QUBE, perfectly. Both products are leaders in their own marketplace and this merger can only strengthen each of our market positions. ECS fully intends to continue the development and support of both products and believes that the transfer of ideas between the two companies will be of huge benefit both to existing customers and the marketplace in general.

ECS is the sole supplier of the QUBE property management software. It has been developing solutions for the property industry for over 25 years and has almost 400 customer organisations. Its solutions cover every aspect of property management from investment companies, managing agents, property companies to large corporate occupiers.

FDS Advanced Systems Ltd are best known for the advanced facilities management software Planet FM. It offers a range of CAFM solutions that encompass asset management, space planning, planned maintenance, help desk, resource booking, contract management and condition surveys. It has a wide variety of customers in both the private and public sector.
