"It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!"

As I’m sure you’ve already noticed, fall is in full swing, which means pumpkins and pumpkin-flavored everything are everywhere. As many of your tenants and residents are probably enjoying the fall colors and slightly cooler weather, now’s a great time to celebrate the season and build some camaraderie among your clients. Read on for some ideas below!

1) Pumpkin Carving – Although it’s a messy endeavor, pumpkin carving is a tradition for many families. Why not hold a carving contest with the winner recieving a gift card to a local restaurant or store? You can also eliminate the competition and print out some pumpkin stencils if your residents and tenants aren’t all particularly excited to create their own designs. Best of all, clients can display their masterpieces in the windows of their home or office, which adds some color to the property.

3) If you have the space, have a Halloween movie night. You can keep it family friendly with classics such as Hocus Pocus or It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie, Brown, or watch some scarier movies like The Exorcist or A Nightmare of Elm Street.

4) Host a recipe swap. Invite residents and tenants to make their favorite fall dishes and be ready to share their recipes with the group. You can also put together a recipe book if you have enough participants! For some inspiration, check out Allrecipe’s collection of pumpkin-based fare.

5) Host a Trick-or-Treat night. Buy some candy for the property management office and invite your tenants and residents to run their own candy stations for the evening. Clients can bring their children (dressed in costume, of course!) for a fun evening of trick-or-treat.
