In the past year we have released over 150 new features and enhancements to Property Tree, Australia’s largest cloud-based property management software solution. With so many great new features on offer we have captured the highlights from the past 12 months of releases – all developed to make property management simpler for you.
Easier, simpler and enjoyable is what we always aim for every time you log in to Property Tree. Over the past months, we’ve added new profile tabs, accounting landing page and 5 customisable dashboards. We’ve also made improvements to our chat support, so you can connect faster, attach files and even see previous interactions. New and rejigged hyperlinks to help you navigate Property Tree faster, new and enhanced statements and we refreshed the overall look and feel.
Tenancy Held Funds Report
You can now filter by Property Type, Portfolio, Tenancy Status and Tags on the Tenancy Held Fund Report. We’ve also added additional columns: Tenancies Vacate Date, Last Held Receipt and Last Held Reason to give you a complete overview of your tenancies without having to refer to the Profile screen.
New legislative changes means compliance is more important than ever. We’ve added a new compliance register to make tracking of compliance requirements easier and made enhancements to the mail merge process to properly document a tenant’s consent to electronic email service of notices.
Set up early warning alerts to potential fraudulent activity with sensitive change notifications to ABA files, Bank Account details, when Profiles are archived and Export Rent Roll is created.
Keeping track of your business performance is now more comprehensive with Property Tree Business Insights.
Enhancements based on your feedback
Property Tree is built and is continually developed based on the needs of our customers. From our User Voice customer feedback, we created (to name a few):
1. Pinned notes for receipts and invoices
2. The ability to search for an archived tenant from the property profile without knowing the tenants name
3. New rent summary and tenancy rent summary reports
4. NZ Watercare invoices
Save time with increased automation. Now you can edit inspections in bulk, automate lease renewal notifications, and use new merge fields in auto comms.
Workflows are essential in streamlining your property management tasks. Now you can forward invoices for approval in Invoice Genius and set recurring invoices.
Well-loved features made even better
A whole bunch of enhancements were made to Tenant Download, Invoice Processing, Bpay payments, Document Management System, Tenancy Held funds, I&E and Inspections.

Our commitment to give you the best property management software never stops with more features in the pipeline. Currently in early adopter setting are MRI Secure Sign and Maintenance Plus.
