The awards cover four categories: AI Visionary, Value Realization, High Impact, and Partner of the Year.
AI Visionary: Steiner + Associates
Steiner + Associates, a boutique real estate developer based in Columbus, Ohio, has built a reputation for challenging industry norms and embracing innovation.
“We’ve always looked for ways to be more innovative than the larger developers,” said Ethan Freet, Vice President of Finance and Operations. “Being smaller has allowed us to challenge expectations and adapt quickly.”
Steiner has been an MRI Software client since 2001, leveraging MRI’s comprehensive property management and accounting suite, including Budgeting and Forecasting, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Commercial Management, Job Cost, and Fixed Assets.
MRI’s solutions have helped the Steiner team spend less time manually reconciling cash and subledgers, resulting in streamlined processes, fewer repetitive tasks, and improved reporting. The team is excited about the potential of AI to further enhance productivity.
“This award reflects the legacy of Karen Blake, who worked closely with MRI for over 20 years,” Freet said. “It’s a testament to her work and the strong relationship we’ve built with MRI.”
Freet also praised MRI’s collaborative approach: “They don’t just build a product and roll it out. They bring clients in early, troubleshoot together, and solve for specific issues. That’s been huge for us.
“MRI will meet your needs and work with you to solve any challenge. Their openness and product quality are unmatched.”
Value Realization: Cabot Properties
Cabot Properties, a global investor, developer, and operator of logistics real estate, leverages its relationship with MRI to drive significant technological advancements in the industry. Recently, Cabot Properties updated its software to MRI PMX X.7 to support its global expansion strategy and further enhance operational efficiency. This update included a new chart of accounts, multi-currency functionality, and streamlined internal billing processes, all within a single global database.
“MRI has been a reliable partner, providing flexible solutions that meet our unique needs,” said Ali Bernard, Chief Financial Officer at Cabot Properties. “The recent update has already shown significant improvements in our processes, and we are excited about the future possibilities with MRI.”
Value Realization: Site Centers
Site Centers, a publicly traded REIT specializing in retail real estate, has long embraced change and innovation in the real estate industry.
“At Site Centers, we are committed to staying ahead of industry trends through data-driven decision-making,” said Kim Sharf, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer.
The company uses MRI’s extensive property management solutions, including Commercial Management, Fixed Assets, Investment Accounting, and Rent Payment to manage financial systems and property operations. A key draw was MRI’s forward-looking technology stack, including advancements in AI and the MRI Engage portal, which enhance the tenant experience and reflect MRI’s deep real estate expertise.
Since going live, Site Centers has seen improvements in reporting and process efficiency. Replacing three separate reporting tools with MRI’s unified system has streamlined workflows and created a consistent experience across departments.
“It’s an honor to be recognized for the hard work and collaboration that went into this multi-year project,” Sharf said. “The value we’ve created together will continue as we leverage MRI’s technology and services.”
High Impact: Dolben

This long-standing relationship has enabled Dolben to integrate a wide range of MRI solutions, including PMX, ConnectSuite, MRI Engage, CallMax, Checkpoint ID, and Resident Screening.
“MRI solutions have allowed us to move forward from a technology perspective and continue to grow in manageable steps,” said Effie Georgiou, Chief Financial Officer, The Dolben Company. “The dedicated support services from MRI have been a game changer for us, allowing our technology team to focus on business priorities while MRI handles the non-routine issues. This partnership has been collaborative, open, honest, and very effective, driving positive change and ensuring our business goals are met.”
Solution Partner of the Year: AvidXchange
Founded in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2000, AvidXchange has become a leader in accounts payable automation, helping over 8,500 companies cut costs and improve efficiency. The company has processed nearly $242 billion through its AvidPay Network in the past year alone.
“Our relationship with MRI began at our inception,” said Brian Thayer, Vice President and General Manager. “MRI was our first partner and integration, and we simply wouldn’t be where we are today without MRI.”
That foundational collaboration has evolved into a dynamic, mutually beneficial relationship built on transparency, alignment, and shared success.
“Working with MRI has been fantastic,” Thayer added. “From hosting events together to immediate support and escalation, the partnership feels more like a friendship.”
Receiving MRI’s Visionary Award is a point of pride for the AvidXchange team. “It’s an honor that reflects our forward-thinking approach and industry leadership,” said Thayer. “To anyone considering a partnership with MRI—do it. You won’t regret it.”
Consulting Partner of the Year: REdirect Consulting
With over 25 years in business, REdirect Consulting has built a reputation for excellence in implementations, business consulting, automation, and support—driven by a team of passionate professionals with decades of experience.
The company has partnered with MRI since 1999, well before the current partner program existed.

Through ongoing touchpoints, the MRI Partner Program has enabled REdirect to provide fast, effective support and elevate client outcomes. The program is seen not just as a business relationship, but also as an investment in shared success.
