MRI’s Women & Allies Pride Resource Group hosted a pointed discussion with Laura Meckler, the author of Dream Town: Shaker Heights and the Quest for Racial Equity. This discussion serves to enlighten audience members on the interconnectedness that real estate, community and education have with each other.
In this fireside chat, we:
- Highlight voices that drive diversity of thought
- Share successes of equitable tools used in integrated communities
- Strengthen the bonds of inclusive practices amongst MRI Software Clients, Partners and MRI Employees
Our hope is that this discussion provides a greater awareness of how one city’s pursuit of racial integration is a microcosm of the world in which each of us inhabits. Both their strides and their challenges reveal lived experiences that everyone can empathize with.
