About the role:

Provides generalist HR support across the employment lifecycle, partnering with the business in areas such as employment relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, or other special projects.  May provide work direction or guidance regarding employment law or company policy to less experienced members of the human resources team.  This position operates under minimal supervision, with wide latitude for independent judgment and requires a high level of confidentiality.


  • Act as a business partner for the APAC management team and employees, assisting with questions covering policies, procedures, benefits and resolution of employee-related issues.
  • Perform various moderately complex duties in employment, compensation, change management, benefits, training, and other HR-related tasks as needed.
  • Responsible for bi-annual performance review process in APAC, including management of software tools, educating employees on processes, tracking progress, etc.
  • Lead integration work post M&A activity in APAC.
  • Support line managers with performance interventions (i.e. coaching letters, warnings, etc)
  • Support the planning and execution of company events in APAC.
  • Manages and audits data and workflows in HRIS systems.
  • Ensure that HR policies and procedures are followed.
  • Conduct various special studies and prepares various HR reports, as needed.
  • Work with the broader Talent Team to identify and implement improvements in our systems, processes and procedures.


  • Minimum 5+ years experience in a similar role providing generalist HR / People / Talent support to a business.
  • Experience in interpreting Australian employment law (required); and employment law in other APAC jurisdictions such as New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, India (desired).
  • Experience in leading HR-related integration work post M&A activity (desireable).
  • At least three years’ experience with a HRIS (ADP preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects with competing priorities.
  • Experience working in the ‘technology’ sector.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • BA/BS Degree in Business, HR, IR, OD (or similar) or equivalent experience in HR Generalist functions in a corporate environment. 
  • Understanding of HR/IR framework in Australia and New Zealand (e.g. Fair Work, WHS, WGEA, etc)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills (including setting / managing expectations, objection handling and conflict resolution).
  • Strong planning, time management, presentation, and organization skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong active listening skills with the ability to ask thoughtful and probing questions in order to determine a stakeholder’s needs.
  • Ability to approach situations strategically, solving problems and making good decisions based on a mixture of analysis, experience, and judgment.
  • Ability to handle high level of confidentiality and common-sense regarding employee information.
  • Strong teaming skills.
  • Commitment to 12-month contract
