MRI is seeking a Sales Director to lead the Investment Sales Team!

Principle Duties of this role includes:

  • Act as the Investment Sales Director, in conjunction with Sales leadership responsibilities.
  • Manage and motivate a Sales team responsible for driving revenue growth while maintaining client relationships and overall experience.
  • Grow and maintain an accurate pipeline to support assigned quota.
  • Increase appropriate business with existing customers, as well as generate new business opportunities.
  • Achieve sales targets and company growth objectives.
  • Regularly review sales performance and ensure that the vision and strategy of MRI software is being executed.
  • Regularly perform territory analysis in terms of customer profiles, number of accounts, revenue targets and ensure that these are adhered to and apply these during account reviews.
  •  Develop and close sales opportunities – effectively managing the sales process from conception through the life of the customer relationship.
  • Participate and lead team activities, while working one on one with Sales team members.
  •  Achieve and maintain rapport with customers and work to give them the best possible service.
  • Achieve and maintain rapport with formal MRI partners in efforts to jointly grow business relationships and new opportunities.
  • Be responsible for achieving resolutions for customer issues in conjunction with the Account Managers.
  • Be aware of internal issues. In all cases Account Executives and Account Managers should be encouraged to work through and resolve issues with guidance, where needed, from the Sales Director.
  • Identify training needs and effectively coach all team members, as required.
  •  Working with and mentoring the sales team to share ideas, knowledge, account management and new business development strategies.
  • Partner with marketing to identify marketing opportunities to the local region, including trade shows, seminars, etc.
  • Adhere to corporate policy and ensure business is conducted in an ethical and appropriate manner.
  •  To maintain an up to date knowledge of the Real Estate industry and the needs of the local region.

Previous Experience & Qualifications:   

  • 5+ years of sales management experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of real estate investment market, business needs and solutions.
  • A proven track record of success including revenue growth and building teams.
  • Exposure to both direct sales and business/technical solutions environment.
  • Demonstrate Creativity/Imagination in identifying and exploiting business opportunities.
  • Credible, can demonstrate exceptional contract negotiation and closing skills.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions, schedule, organize, prioritize, complete work in accordance with manager’s deadlines and guidelines, and to check and verify the accuracy of work.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different personalities and build strong relationships with co-workers, management and customers.
  • Ability to maintain a consistently positive, productive and professional attitude during stressful situations; exercise initiative and judgment in order to solve basic work problems.
  • Bachelor’s degree with preferred focus in business, finance, technology or marketing
