David Bowie
David Bowie is Executive Vice President and Executive Managing Director of Asia Pacific at MRI Software, where he leads the company’s strategy and operations across the region. He is responsible for driving product innovation tailored to the APAC market, overseeing regional services and support, and directing sales and partnership initiatives across the region. David has overseen MRI’s dramatic growth in APAC by advancing customer-led strategy, market diversification, and organizational culture and is regarded as an authentic, people-focused leader.
Prior to joining MRI in 2020, David spent nearly two decades at Data Analytics and AI leader SAS, where he rose to Vice President and Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand and led the subsidiary through significant growth, market expansion, and business transformation. He began his career at PwC before moving into technology consulting and went on to achieve large-scale client success and organizational growth in leadership roles at IBM and Dimension Data.
David serves on the board for RiSE Initiative Australia – an organization working to build awareness and education about mental health and wellness in the real estate industry. He holds a Bachelor of Economics (Accounting) from Macquarie University, a Graduate Diploma of Psychology from University of New England and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors..
Mark Cohen
Mark Cohen is the Vice President of APAC Product, tasked with oversight of the regional product management and engineering functions. In this role he will drive product innovation and focus on both leveraging and contributing to the global product organisation, to deliver scaled solutions to the APAC market.
Mark brings PropTech industry experience gained as the CTO and CIO of Domain Group, where he held responsibility for product development and delivery. This included establishing the capacity – and the delivery of – consumer-facing machine learning products. Prior to Domain, Mark was the GM of Product Technology across Australia and New Zealand, for Fairfax Media.
He has also held leadership roles and gained broader digital product experience from a range of organisations including smaller startups to ASX200 organisations across ANZ.
Mark holds a BSc in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Nadya Corne
Nadya Corne is the Vice President of Talent Management for the APAC region including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong and India. In her role, she is responsible for Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Talent Operations and Workplace Experience. Throughout her career Nadya has successfully built and led HR capability across the HR Generalist space as well as Talent Acquisition with a strong track record in the delivery of strategic HR initiatives and large-scale business transformation.
Nadya is an experienced HR leader and trusted business partner with a passion for developing high-performing teams and a positive workplace culture. Prior to joining MRI, Nadya held senior leadership roles at Morgan Stanley, Westpac, BT Financial Group and IBM Australia with experience in multiple domains including, Software, Platforms, Superannuation and Investment, Wealth Management, Business Banking, Technology and Cloud.
Nadya holds a Master of Management, People and Performance from Macquarie University Business School.
Angela Mihalarias
Angela Mihalarias is the Asia Pacific Vice President of Client Support for MRI Software. With over 25 years of experience in the technology space and a focus on the professional services industry across APAC, Angela is responsible for client experience in delivery excellence, productivity, quality and consistency across all client touchpoints.
Prior to joining MRI in 2020, Angela served as the ANZ Managing Director for Pactera Technologies, a global IT consulting and technology services provider, leading the business transformation in establishing their market digital identity whilst stabilising and growing the business base.
Angela began her career at PwC in a technology consulting division before taking consulting and further leadership roles at Lotus Development and IBM. At IBM, Angela spent time leading different professional services teams and held a variety of business operations roles across business units, including Human Resources, Inside Sales and Software.
Angela holds a Bachelor of Economics (Accounting and IT) from Macquarie University and has an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Marcus Roennfeldt
Marcus Roennfeldt serves as the Vice President of Professional Services, APAC at MRI Software, where he leads client delivery and success initiatives across the region.
With 25 years of experience in enterprise software, Marcus has built a reputation as a seasoned delivery executive across major industry verticals. Prior to joining MRI Software, he spent eight years as Head of Professional Services, APAC at NCR, managing a diverse team across 13 countries and driving strategic service delivery throughout the region.
Marcus has worked extensively across Asia and the Australia-New Zealand (ANZ) markets, bringing deep regional insight and leadership to complex engagements. Earlier in his career, he spent 16 years in the supply chain sector, contributing to several leading software providers and collaborating with numerous high-profile brands across APAC.
His broad expertise and commitment to client success continue to shape transformative outcomes for MRI Software’s customers.
Alex Lau
Dr Sarah Bell
Dr Sarah Bell is a distinguished expert with research and practice experience in Proptech, data empowerment and the strategic implementation of AI systems. Her innovative thinking and visionary leadership have been instrumental in shaping the landscape of property and Proptech in APAC. Sarah was CoFounder of the first Australian AI application for real estate, which she successfully exited after a sale to the world’s leading property data and analytics company. Her doctoral thesis in Proptech was a transdisciplinary exploration of trust and interpretability of AI and advanced software in Proptech.
Sarah is now Senior Director and part of the Executive Team at MRI Software, leading Ecosystem Strategy, Data and Innovation in APAC. In this role, she also leads a global project supporting MRI customers to unlock the power of AI and the value of data as a strategic asset. Sarah is Partner Investigator of a global research team looking at applications of AI and research to support affordable housing needs.
Sarah’s passion for driving industry innovation and her deep understanding of data-driven decision-making make her a sought-after leader in the field. Her contributions to the real estate sector have earned her numerous accolades, including Innovator of the Year (2021, 2022, 2023), Innovation Hall of Fame, Excellence in Real Estate and Proptech Leader of the Year 2023. She is also the author of the ethnographic novel, UpTown.
Lee Demetriou
Lee Demetriou is the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis for APAC at MRI Software, where he serves as a senior finance leader and trusted advisor to the Global EVP of FP&A and the Regional Executive Managing Director. He is a member of the APAC Senior Leadership Team, responsible for regional financial strategy, performance management, transformation and planning.
With over 15 years of experience across SaaS, PropTech, manufacturing, agribusiness, transport and consumer products, Lee brings a commercially focused and transformation-led approach to finance leadership. At MRI Software, he plays a key role in driving financial discipline, improving forecasting accuracy, strengthening revenue management practices, and enabling data-driven decision-making through enhanced reporting and planning capabilities.
Prior to joining MRI Software, Lee held senior finance leadership roles at PropTech Group Ltd, MaxiTrans, Polaris Industries, and Costa Group – later acquired by MRI Software, supporting operational performance, capital investment decisions, and business growth initiatives.
Lee holds a Bachelor of Accounting, is a CPA Australia member, and a Registered BAS Agent. He is recognised for combining strategic insight with hands-on execution to support scalable growth and operational excellence.
Richard Exley
Richard Exley is the Commercial Sales Director for APAC, responsible for business development and account management teams servicing MRI’s commercial and corporate occupier sectors. With over 12 years’ experience in technology sales, Richard is responsible for all commercial go-to-market activities, sales excellence and growth, and has a keen eye on customer satisfaction, experience and retention.
Prior to joining MRI Software, Richard worked for Real Asset Management both in the UK and in Australia. Just prior to its acquisition by MRI, Richard was responsible for landing the Real Asset Management brand in Australia, building a cross-functional operation in Sydney, and delivering significant growth through the businesses’ first 18 months.
Richard holds an Honours degree in Computer Science, and prior to a career in enterprise sales, worked as an accomplished software consultant and project manager, holding Prince2 and other industry accreditations.
Tim Pickard
Tim Pickard is the Senior Director, Sales for MRI Software in the Asia-Pacific region, responsible for the sales and account management teams servicing thousands of customers across the residential sector.
Tim joins MRI Software with over 20 years experience of as a leader in helping organisations leverage SaaS software and technology solutions to achieve tangible outcomes across the Asia-Pacfic region and EMEA.
Tim began his career at the Royal Bank of Scotland in the UK and prior to joining MRI was the Commercial Director at SAS, an analytics, machine learning and A.I. industry leader. His work experience spans investor relations, public relations, media & communications, and analytics. Tim is passionate about helping organisations leverage software and technology to make better decisions, fuel new revenue streams and improve customer experience.
Ryan Short
Ryan Short is the Director, Marketing for MRI Software in the Asia-Pacific region. He is responsible for the growth and expansion of MRI’s product portfolio in market, as well as oversight of the go-to-market strategy for newly acquired offerings.
Ryan is a seasoned B2B SaaS marketing leader with over 12 years of experience driving growth across complex, multi-product portfolios. With a strong foundation in marketing strategy and execution, Ryan has led initiatives within large Private Equity-backed firms, spanning sectors including Residential and Commercial Real Estate, Social Housing, Government, Education, Public Health, and Insurance.
Holding an MBA in Marketing Management, Ryan has built deep expertise in positioning and scaling products in market – often navigating complex product ecosystems across multiple verticals. Currently, he leads the marketing across a portfolio covering commercial, residential, and occupier PropTech solutions, encompassing over 20 key core products across Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
Ryan is recognised for translating strategic imperatives into actionable demand generation, brand elevation, retention and customer engagement programs that deliver measurable impact.
