APC saves 40% of processing time with iProp.solutions and MRI Software

APC, a dynamic organisation managing both residential and commercial properties with a strong focus on residential developments, sought to overcome long-standing inefficiencies in its tenant onboarding and lease processing. By partnering with iProp.solutions and iShack Ventures and leveraging their collaboration with MRI Software, APC successfully digitised its lead-to-lease process. This transformation optimised operations, reduced administrative burdens, minimised errors, and cut processing time by approximately 40%, setting a new benchmark for efficiency in the industry. 

Manual processes slowed growth

With a commitment to operational excellence, APC recognised that traditional, paper-based processes were no longer sustainable in a competitive market. They faced several challenges that slowed operations and increased costs: 

• Reliance on paper-based documentation led to lost or misplaced records and time-consuming data entry. 
• Capturing information manually was labour-intensive and prone to errors. 
• There was no effective way to monitor documents or track the progress of tenant applications. 

Recognising that paper-based systems could not keep pace with a growing residential portfolio, APC set out to digitise its lead-to-lease process, aiming to reduce administrative overhead, improve efficiency, and integrate smoothly with MRI Property Central (formerly MDA Property Manager). 

End-to-end digitisation

iProp.solutions implemented a comprehensive digital platform covering the full lead-to-lease lifecycle: 

• Vacancy and lead management: Integrated with MRI Property Central to display real-time vacancy data through a custom property search tool. 
• CRM solution: Enabled agents to track and manage leads throughout the leasing journey. 
• Digitised documentation: Offer-to-lease processes, FICA capture, and lease generation were digitised and integrated into MRI Property Central. 
• Centralised document storage: Secure storage via iProp.solutions and OneDrive eliminated scanning and physical filing. Hard copy lease applications are being phased out from March 2025. 

The project ran over three months and went live in October 2024 for a new residential building. Thanks to close collaboration between iProp.solutions and MRI Software, integration was simple and required minimal technical intervention.
