The third episode of our social housing podcast series explores the results around safety from our first Resident Voice Index™ report and how lighting plays a role in making people feel safe.
We explore the findings from the survey, which gathered almost 4000 responses from social housing providers, alongside Doug Sarney, Solutions Principal, MRI Software who is our visionary lead on this project and Nicolas Bosetti, Head of Data and Insight, Centre for London.
Nicolas has worked on the Centre for London’s “Seeing Clearly; How lighting can make London a Better City.” 2020 report. In the report there is a specific recommendation that Local Authorities and Housing Associations upgrade lighting in their homes and enlist the help of lighting specialists to make safe, green and beautiful interventions and improvements to their sites.
Doug and Nicolas discuss how housing plays a role in the night-time management of spaces and what that means for safety and beyond.
