The Magic of MRI’s 2017 International Users Conference
It’s hard to believe another International Users Conference has come and gone! This year, a record-breaking 1200 attendees gathered in Orlando, Florida at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal OrlandoTM to exchange ideas, learn new skills, and experience the magic of Harry Potter.
With so many memorable moments, it’s hard to choose. But here are a few of our favorite highlights from the conference.
Acquisitions
We’ve made a few. Specifically, MRI has acquired five companies since Sept 20th, 2017. We’ve expanded our global footprint and added fixed asset capabilities with the acquisitions of Real Asset Management and Qube Global Software, both based in the United Kingdom. IUC attendees were the first to hear the announcement that HAB and eCondoSystems are now part of the MRI family, which reiterates our commitment to multifamily and Affordable Housing and marks MRI’s entry into Public Housing. We proudly hosted several of our new family members from Real Asset Management, Qube, and Tenmast at IUC. Thank you all for making them feel welcome!
Solutions room, sessions & pods
Oh my! With nearly 60 partners represented at IUC 2017, attendees and sponsors enjoyed the best Solutions Room yet. The product pods featured engaging demos of the latest MRI solutions, while sessions covered everything from introductory courses to MRI’s most recent Fixed Asset software.
Legendary entertainment
The Monday evening Extravaganza kicked off at Universal CityWalkTM with great food and some masterful karaoke performances! The party then migrated to the Wizarding World of Harry PotterTM at Hogsmeade for butter beer, more refreshments, and rides. Yes, that’s right – IUC attendees had private access to Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and Flight of the Hippogriff – that means no lines! This was truly one of the most spectacular IUC Extravaganza evenings in recent memory, and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Looking ahead to 2018
Next year, the International Users Conference will be held in Atlanta, Georgia on October 14-17, 2018. While the location of IUC changes from year to year, our fundamental goal of providing choice and flexibility doesn’t.
