Technical Business Analyst – Product Management

MRI Software is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join our Product Management team in Solon, OH!   The Business Analyst is responsible for developing user stories, and packaging the features into product releases. This individual will have close interaction with product development, architects, product managers, product owners, support/services, partners and clients. This individual will work across multiple teams on targeted projects that can include market and competitive research, developing user stories, and maintaining the product backlog.

Essential functions include:

  • Maintain deep subject matter expertise for assigned product line
  • Maintain the product backlog
  • Perform card break down, define exit criteria, provide test case scenario input, documentation approval
  • Ensure the Product Development team has clarity on the problem & business value of the solution
  • Functional working relationship with Dev Manager and PD Team to ensure clarity on the problem & business value of the solution
  • Develop a deep understanding of user/compliance requirements
  • Work with global stakeholders both technical and business to drive change in a fast-paced financial environment
  • Understand the technical environment and look to continually promote increased knowledge in the team
Skills & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, MIS, Computer Science or related field
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proven experience with MS Office applications
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments and projects
  • Knowledge of technologies such as SQL, Databases, .NET, Angular, JavaScript a plus
  • Experience with other software companies is a plus
