MRI Software is looking for a Senior Project Manager, whose primary role is responsible for the initiation, planning, execution, and reporting of all projects for the Revenue Operations team. Independently coordinates work requests through implementation by allocating resources monitoring work efforts, accountability, and removing roadblocks. Provides comprehensive, frequent, and transparent reporting and status back to management and clients.  Identifies and proactively addresses communication gaps, negative client impact, and cross-functional misalignment.  Must be someone who loves doing all of this in a fast-paced, agency environment where priorities change often.


Job Description:

  • Management of project plans and deliverables by internal and external project team members
  • Identifies and gains agreement on project objectives, scope, timing, and resources.
  • Development of overarching project plans that include deliverables, owners, dependencies, timeline, risks, issues etc., for each initiative
  • Project/Program Management throughout the lifecycle including:
    • Analyzing, planning, and tracking project milestones, tasks, dependencies, etc.
    • Communication Management
    • Establishing metrics and reporting performance against agreed upon targets
  • Constantly monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders including identification and communication of risks and issues to Stakeholders and Sponsors in a timely and clear fashion
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Establish and moderate weekly project calls with key project resources to ensure alignment on performance and project plans
  • Ensure notes, actions items and decisions are documented
  • Assist in creation or updating of project related documentation including scope document, use case lists, KPI reports
  • Identifies cross-functional gaps and aligns with the appropriate teams to resolve
  • Defines the business case with input from stakeholders.
  • Ensures resources are optimally sourced and deployed.
  • Adeptly builds consensus and gains buy-in among stakeholders across the organization.
  • Escalates and works to resolve issues that serve as roadblocks and/or place project objectives at risk.
  • Identifies and provides visibility into trade-offs between options, while strongly influencing recommended approach.
  • Expert-level ability in managing all aspects of the project management life cycle for multiple projects at one time to include those complex in nature.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management tools such as Smartsheets, Google Docs and Sharepoint.
  • Strong ability to adapt and address unique challenges in collaborative and creative ways. Project management certification strongly preferred.
  • Displays advanced communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team building skills as well as advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills.
  • Advanced business operations knowledge to include understanding the function’s value chain and market conditions strongly preferred.
  • Competencies typically acquired through a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to include project management work.
  • Ability to have intelligent conversations regarding project requirements and objectives with technical and non-technical staff; conveying requirements to the technical team to set development objectives and technical terms to non-technical clients.
  • Self-starter, who demonstrates personal initiative.
  • PMP or other project management-appropriate certifications preferred.
