Our company are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to process payroll for our employees in Australia and New Zealand, the role requires a highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail and suitable experience.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and accurate processing of the end to end payroll process
  • Provide a high level of support to internal stakeholders, responding to email and phone enquiries
  • Maintaining compliance with various payroll related legislative requirements
  • Preparation of payroll tax, superannuation and PAYG
  • Processing wage increases and calculating back payments, inclusive of additional allowances relating to the offshore Enterprise Agreement when required
  • Action month end and payment summaries for year end, including payroll related reports
Requirements

To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Certificate IV in Payroll Administration (or equivalent)
  • Payroll experience in a large organisation
  • Intermediate level in Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Capable of interpreting enterprise agreements and payroll legislation
  • Able to meet deadlines and work unsupervised
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the company
