MRI Software is seeking a FP&A Lead Analyst to join our growing team at our Global Headquarters in Solon, OH! The primary role of the FP&A Lead Analyst is to provide extensive support to the CFO and Director of FP&A on monthly and ad-hoc projects. This position will drive day-to-day FP&A activities including monthly financial reporting, quarterly board deck presentations, analysis and modeling support for M&A operations, and mentorship for junior analysts. The key responsibilities of this role will be:

  • Manage the preparation of the monthly leadership reporting process to be presented to Senior Leadership by overseeing a team of analysts and consultants responsible for financial, bookings, attrition, headcount, and other reporting.
  • Lead ad-hoc and quarterly projects in support of our Private Equity analysts
  • Provide various and ad-hoc projects at the direction of the CFO
  • Manage small team of junior analysts
Skills & Requirements
  • Direct industry experience in a software or other subscription business
  • Direct industry experience working for a Private Equity-owned business
  • Successful experience:
    • as a financial leader who is both “hands on” and “scalable” in a multi-location commercial operations environment with revenues of at least $100MM with proven ability to manage growth
    • experience working with acquisition due diligence and post-acquisition integration including monitoring progress towards targeted synergies and cost savings
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills: versatile and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines
  • Bachelors degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, or a STEM major
  • CPA license and/or MBA is preferred but not required
  • 7+ years of work experience; must have management or supervisory experience
