MRI’s M&A and Corporate Standards team has an opening for a Sales and Marketing Business Analyst. This individual will work alongside M&A team leaders responsible for sales and marketing diligence, strategy and integration to evaluate due diligence documents, complete analyses, support go-to-market planning and acquisition integration.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support M&A leadership through sales and marketing due diligence, planning and integration.
  • Explore, evaluate, and model acquisition growth strategy, business goals and business processes.
  • Become a trusted partner, collaborate cross-functionally to improve acquisition business processes, find opportunities for greater efficiency, plan and document ideal solutions.
  • Set, track and analyze acquisition KPIs to measure the effectiveness of sales, advertising, marketing and communications strategies for acquired entities.
  • Leverage market research and reports to explore the effectiveness of programs that support acquisition financial, sales and marketing goals.
  • Produce deliverables for acquisitions such as ad hoc analysis, business insights reporting, functional requirements specifications, process flow diagrams, and project plans.
  • Coordinate project activities to ensure acquisition projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and meet business expectations
  • Own the sales and marketing data management workstream for M&A activities with a focus on data integrity, analysis and reporting.
  • Assist with reporting and other success metrics on all acquisitions.
  • Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating sales and marketing data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format, including presentation slides and other graphs/illustrations.
  • All other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or experience in lieu of
  • Proven experience in data management, defining requirements and using data metrics to draw business insights
  • Experience analyzing business drivers across multiple variables preferably from a sales and marketing perspective.
  • Proven success working in Sales/CRM, Marketing/Demand Generation, Quoting, contracting enterprise applications preferred
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written and data prestation) and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate across teams
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing projects in a fast-paced environment timely, accurately and with strong attention to detail, with continuous communication of progress updates to stakeholders
