3 Apartment Internet Marketing Conference Sessions We Can’t Wait to Experience

The AIM Conference begins in a few weeks (May 5-7) in beautiful Huntington Beach and once again the agenda is jam packed with engaging and forward thinking topics that the industry’s top apartment marketers will be taking back to their organizations with the kind of excitement only true marketing geeks can appreciate. As we prepare to participate in our 10th AIM conference, here are just a few of the sessions that we’re making it a point to attend.

Campaigns: The Unconscious Marketing Makeover – Last year’s AIM 2013 keynote speaker Douglas Van Praet returns to AIM this year with an intriguing presentation of a marketing makeover for Weidner Apartment Homes communities. The author of “Unconscious Branding – How Neuroscience Can Empower (and Inspire) Marketing” challenged last year’s audience to reconsider marketing personas and the way apartment communities determine strategies for connecting with and engaging prospective residents. We’re excited to learn what strategies Van Praet and Weidner Marketing Manager, Laurel Zacher have collaborated on and to see this popular session from last year come to life with real world, industry application.

Little Data: The Simple KPIs You Should Be Following – MRI has long been known for our industry leading reporting engine, so it’s no surprise that we want to hear what Donald Davidoff of D2 Demand Solutions, Jessica Mills of Carmel Partners, and Scott Wesson of UDR have to say about simplifying apartment marketing analytics data-sets and identifying KPIs that can better reveal trends and results. Simply put, we want our clients to be able to report on the right data, at the right time, to the right people, and we’re looking forward to hearing first-hand insight from the panel.

Presidential Power Panel: The AIM Executive Interview – Three multifamily executives join AIM executive producer Steve Lefkovits for a discussion on the challenges of apartment marketing and their thoughts on what’s in store for the future of their own organization’s marketing. From vendor integration and cooperation to mobile and web strategy, this panel of thought leaders from Kettler Management, Related Management and Alliance Residential is sure to inspire marketing change in your own organization.

The AIM Business Lounge – OK, technically this isn’t a session, but if you’re looking for knowledge and the opportunity to learn from apartment marketers, you have to make it a point to spend time exploring the AIM Business Lounge. Be sure to stop by the MRI couch lounge and talk to Stephen Baker, Vice President Product Management, Marcy Helms, VaultWare Product Manager, and Kevan Humphrey, Multifamily Marketing Manager to learn about an exciting new look for MRI Property Management, the latest VaultWare enhancements, and a chance to win one of three great beach life prizes! Click here to schedule time to meet with us at AIM.
