Ruby Gibson: The Gift of COVID

There’s no question that COVID-19 has forever changed property management. It has presented unprecedented challenges, but It has also created opportunities for businesses to make a meaningful change.

On this episode of MRI Property Rockstars, Ruby Gibson, Property Manager at Century 21 Living in Sydney’s Lower North Shore, shares how COVID-19 has transformed work, client relationships and team rapport for the better.

According to Ruby, technology has been integral to this transformation, providing businesses with solutions to help them thrive in a new environment.

“Technology plays an important role in running our business – from the software systems we use to the reports we’re able to do on our phones. Everything we do is simpler and quicker because of technology. Even working from home was simple – we had everything on the cloud. None of that would have really been possible without the improvements in technology.”

She also shared how technology helps her stay connected with her teammates – ensuring collaboration and support even outside the office. “I am grateful to still be able to work in a time when some people cannot,” says Ruby. “The team has been great in pushing me to do my best in this difficult time.”
