2018 NMHC List highlights top multifamily real estate companies

Every year, the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) publishes a ranking of the Top 50 Apartment Owners and Managers. This list serves as a who’s who in the multifamily industry and represents some of the biggest names in real estate. The list also includes the Top 25 Developers, Top 25 Builders and Top 10 Syndicators.

Among the biggest names on the list is AvalonBay Communities, Inc., an equity REIT and longtime client of MRI Software. The firm ranks in the Top 50 Owners as well as the Top 50 Managers on the 2018 NMHC list.

AvalonBay manages nationwide portfolio with MRI Software

AvalonBay successfully upgraded to MRI’s Platform X in 2016 and uses MRI’s Residential Management solutions to manage property-level accounting for its portfolio of apartment communities across the country. The company also uses MRI Software’s Commercial Management, Tenant Connect, Financials and Accounting, and Affordable Housing property management solutions. In addition, through Partner Connect, MRI’s open partner ecosystem, AvalonBay has the flexibility to integrate complementary third-party applications into MRI’s property management platform.

MRI clients dominate the NMHC Top 50
