Women in leadership has been a big topic this year given the 2016 presidential election.  Questions like “Why are there still so few women in upper level leadership positions?” and “Are the keys to success different for women than men?” have come up.

These are the same questions that were discussed at the 2016 NAA Education Conference during the panel, “How Women Win in Leadership”.  This panel was very well received by attendees as well as the association.  Since the conference, the panel has been highlighted in units magazine and was recently invited to reprise the discussion in a free webinar on Thursday, December 1, 2016, at 3 pm hosted by NAA.

This panel is full of leadership advice for both women and men.  Paul R. Bergeron III, NAA Director of Publications, attended the panel and called it “one of the most inspiring and interesting sessions at the 2016 NAA Education Conference & Exposition.”  The hot topics that will be discussed include mentorship, competition, networking, risk and success.  During this webinar you will learn:

  1. How to identify and connect with mentors that can champion you in your career and how to mentor others effectively.
  2. How to develop a powerful network of professionals that can assist you with your career growth.
  3. Insights from specific lessons learned from the panel throughout their careers.
